About the Author

Larry Larsen is an outdoor/travel writer, photographer, author and entrepreneur who fell in love with the Amazon and its sport fish in 1992. Since 1988, he has traveled to South America over 75 times (with more than 550 days on the water) in search of the worlds largest peacock bass and other Amazon exotic species. He has caught over two dozen different species of fish there and more than 30 peacock bass weighing over 20 pounds, including two 25-pounders!
